THE BEGINNING
The JustCause team traveled to Soroti, Uganda to train a team of six Ugandan men and build the first on-site OASIS.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
The heart of JustCause is centered around the people we seek to impact and serve. For this first trip to Soroti, there was a crew of six guys selected by a pastor we have partnered with that were excited to learn and work with us. Though we taught these men in the way of fabrication and welding, they taught us infinitely more about our own faith, about humility, and joy.
WELDING TRAINING
The core of fabricating an OASIS cannot be completed without knowing how to lay consistent welds. We teach various forms of welding so these men can be prepared for potential local jobs. This training can be continued outside of the OASIS construction and provide career paths that will impact the men and their families for years ahead.

OASIS
CONSTRUCTION
Welding skills, combined with other trades, teamwork, and problem-solving, resulted in the very first OASIS beginning to take shape. Our Ugandan guys sharpened their own newly learned skills and helped each other, forming a true synergy. It was clear they weren't just working for themselves - the team was working hard to serve their friends, families, communities, and their futures.
THE RESULTS
In Soroti, we laid the groundwork for every future OASIS project. We deployed and set up our first full-scale Mobile Shop—a 40-foot shipping container equipped with a mobile power plant and a fully functional fabrication workspace.
The first Ugandan crew was successfully trained. This milestone marked the beginning of a scalable model where local teams take ownership of clean water solutions—combining innovation with sustainability and long-term impact.
